Tarsharna Interns at the AIME

Tarsharna Nye spent the day working as a paid Art Intern for the Australian Indigenous Mentoring Experience (AIME) on Thursday, 19th February. She, along with Shania Aldridge, from Eden Marine High School, were selected to attend the day which was held at The University of Wollongong – Bega Campus.

AIME is an Indigenous mentoring program that believes Indigenous = Success.
Tarsharna started the day with a Skype chat with AIME’s graphic designer, Sam Joseph, and a short video message from AIME’s CEO, Jack Manning-Bancroft. After this the interns spent the day creating unique artworks representing who they are and what they value.
As well as being paid for the day, Tarsharna’s completed artwork will be bought by AIME who can then use the artworks in their new clothing and product designs.
Congratulations Tarsharna on this huge achievement!
