Moruya Swans take on Bodalla/Narooma

On the 13th of September at the Captain Olderley Park in Broulee, the local Moruya Swan Youth Girls team took on the 3rd place combined team Bodalla/Narooma.

Moruya High School Indigenous Students Nakia and Talia Moreton-Stewart played for the Moruya side. Talia played up front as a striker while Nakia played all around usually focusing on mid-field.
Although Moruya had been undefeated all year, it turned out to be a tough match and the side knew they had to work hard to secure the win.
At half time, Moruya was up 1-0 with both teams constantly getting shots on goal. The final 5 minutes of the game saw Moruya scoring another goal, giving the win to Moruya 2-0.
Throughout the year the team was undefeated, winning all 17 games that they played and scoring 90 goals as a team, only having 9 goals scored against them.
